Feb/26/2011 : February 24th, Bigbang's comeback in 2 years

IN TWO YEARS...!

BIGBANG HAS COME BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In approximately 2 years of Bigbang's activities, they have come back all together as one group with the fourth mini album! 

Their title songs Tonight, What is Right, Hands Up are already on the top list of the news! Fans have already reserved their albums and some of my friends are already playing their songs on their macbooks! 

 

Bigbang had already introduced their teasers of their album intro and their title song Tonight and had made fans more excited. Especially G-dragon's changed hairstyle has upgraded the level of fandom since the fans had always wanted his hair back to blond (like when he was doing his solo activities with Heartbreaker)

As soon as Bigbang released their new songs to public, these songs took over all the first places to sixth places in all sorts of international music charts. YG Entertainment even says that their server was forcefully shut down because of the amazing amount of click rates and visitors to watch Bigbang's teasers. LOL. 

 

Personally I am a very big big fan of Bigbang as well. :) I hope they don't run in to severe accidents or hardships...and they should always remember that VIPs (name for Bigbang's fans) are always cheering behind them! 

 

Feb/21/2011 : IU, Legendary 3-stage high note!

It has been quite while since IU, a solo female musician who is one of the best singers acknowledged for her exploding singing ability. Her official bloom in popularity increased when she released her new solo album, Real IU, in 2010 December.

Her title song for this album is called "A Pleasant Day (좋은날)", which contained a part where she sang 3-stage high notes that actually made us shiver and again marvel her ability in singing. 

From her outstanding performances and also popularity that was soaring up intensely, she was also included in the Dream High cast, as a character who had inhumane singing ability. The song she sang during an auditioning part of the drama, Dream High OST 'Someday' was a big hit among the audience.

Unfortunately as her popularity soared up, there were also as many tackles and hatred from other people. They started to suspect that IU had done plastic surgery, despite her effort and honesty in naming herself of 'natural beauty'.

There were many other unreasonable tackles and hardships for IU to go through, but moreover she possesses a massive fandom mostly filled up with 'uncle' and 'cousin' fans. Personally, I literally love IU whether she did plastic surgery or not, for her outstanding performances in singing, bright and polite personality on TV, and always showing her full effort in every part of her job (even drama, which was such a new corner for her!)

Korean Entertainment World Dilemma : KEWD #1

 

This audio is recorded by me, the first episode of 'KEWD (Korean Entertainment World Dilemma' that I am working on in my Speech and Debate class. This is the first episode, kind of rushed and very immature, but please stay tuned for my next upcoming episodes!:D

Feb/18/2011 : Jay Park's Apology. Dumbfounded.

I expect most of you people are aware of the incident where Jay Park (who was the leader of 2PM) had to be sent to the US, forced to drop out from the K-pop idol group 2PM due to a mysterious error that he had made, still not identified. 

Due to this incident the majority of the Hottests (official name for fans of the group 2PM) took the side of Jay Park, either by extreme fandom or sympathy. But ironically 2PM (Jay Park's fans called the group 6PM since now there were only 6 members without Jay) was on their peak as an idol group with their new song Heartbeat.

As time passed until now, 2011 February, people became more flexible and were able to have a more reasoning mind. 2PM (without Jay) fan club and popularity steadily recovered although we still have questions about the reason of Jay Park's drop out from 2PM.

All of the information above I expect most of you guys to know, and also that Jay Park showed almost no sign of apology and disappointment towards his mistake and towards 2PM.

But now, after a year, we are informed about Jay Park's official apology to members of 2PM and JYP (Park Jin-Young, president of the company).

The majority of the people now share ideas that I personally think should have always been supported throughout the 2PM dilemma.

Translation: I do not event want to know what kind of mistake it was that Jay Park made, but honestly as a person who liked Jay in the past, it's quite disappointing.

In fact it is a little late for this kind of news to be informed to us. I was always disturbed by this issue with 2PM, and I actually think it's a better clean end to the unfortunate affair.
