1st place: Taeyeon of Girls Generation!!!!!!!!!

Well, seriously I have nothing to say because I was expecting this result. She is one of the top queens who are best at training (?) their fans and expanding them in huge (when I say huge I mean massive) numbers. She is also the main vocal in Girls Generation, a recognized talented singer in Korea. :) Hope you enjoyed this special list of information and I'll come back next month (it's 1 hour and 55 minutes away!) with more interesting news! BYE!

Mar/29/2011 : KhunToria's UNICEF support!

We are all aware that Japan is going through their hard times due to the unexpectedly strong earthquake, tsunami that hit them recently. Lots of celebrities and Koreans are helping by supporting Japan with large amounts of money and supplies. Celebrities such as Yong-Joon Bae, Seung-Bum Ryu, Kara, etc. have supported Japan with at least more then a hundred million won. I just wanted to mention this special kind of charity for Japan, although the issue that I am about to talk about is something slightly different.

(Yong-Joon Bae supported Japan by giving a billion won)

But one of the issues that were on the top news list was that the official fan club cafe for the imaginary couple Nickun and Victoria (called KhunToria) had saved six million won by themselves to support the survival and improvements for the children all around the world with six million won!

This is seriously what is called the honest generosity and effort from a massive fandom. It is certainly not easy for them to save up 6 million won sticking as group with just the names of these two i-dols of Korea. I think it was a fabulous job for them to do, and I hope all of us will have a chance to help in some kind of way in the future as well. :)

Mar/18/2011 : Welcome to The Show!

Did you guys watch the new sitcom broadcast on the 16th of March?! I found it very interesting and realistic and very entertaining. By now, after the drama Dream High and now this new sitcom Welcome to The Show, I think acting i-dols are the general trend nowadays...although there is a clear likes and dislikes in this topic. The i-dols who appeared in this sitcom were Seul-Ong from 2AM, Nick-Kun from 2PM, Sulli from F(x), IU (guest star), TVXQ (guest star), Maestro (guest star), and many others like ZEA, MBLAQ, TINTOP, etc.

Does this look like a scene from the weekly k-pop program In-gi Gayo ? Well, this is the scene from this new sitcom Welcome to The Show! This first episode of the sitcom was basically about how these main i-dols (with protagonist Seul-Ong from the boy ballade group 2AM) processed their live In-gi Gayo program, and how the PDs and organizers struggle in chaos as they progress the show without following the assigned script (and of course some stories with a love line!)

Personally I only knew that this sitcom would be in broadcast in March, but never knew the exact date during March...therefore I had to surf the internet in order to become an expert! But I think it was the similar situation for most of the people in Korea too. There was an article that stated the surprisingly low amount of audience who watched this at the time (Friday night 7:10), which was only 3.9% of Korea in total.

And even more surprisingly, it was found out that this sitcom was a short film with only one episode. Probably the low audience rating played a big role in letting the broadcasting station make this decision.

I was quite determined to watch the next episode...but there is no next episode!!!!!! :'(.............
Well, I guess they improve their program in the way they say so, and I'll hope to see them again someday! :)

Mar/10/2011 : KEWD #2

This is the second episode of KEWD (Korean Entertainment World Dilemma)! The topic is generally about IU and the hardships during her rise of popularity. Enjoy! :)
